Pep Club seeks cooperation for Grinnell game events

With the Coe game past, the Pep Club plans for Home Coming and the Grinnell game. About 700 alumni invitations have been sent, a mass meeting is likely Friday at 6 10, and a 10 o'clock pep meeting Saturday precedes the cross country run. The 2 30 kickoff will feature new stunts between halves and a post game mixer at the gym with Grinnell. Senior Council cooperates on the informal affair.

Cornelllians Frater Nize at Des Moines

The Cornell pedagogues held a homecoming during the recent state association in Des Moines. Cornell headquarters at the Savery hotel welcomed many alumni and friends with a college reunion on Friday evening. Travelers included Helen Clark from Dunlap Van Sant Jenkins from Lake Park Fausta Hill and Vera Black from Villisca and several Des Moines residents. Florence Griffin from Oelwein joined early, with others from Fairchild Atlantic Fayette Hamp ton Marion Reinbeck and Emerson.

A large College Auditorium crowd enjoyed Ben Greet Players in Shakespeare's A Comedy of Errors. Simple staging kept focus on acting with strong support from Vivian, Oliver, Joyner, Stevens, Mills and Thompson, while Angelo's diction stood out oddly.
