Cornell Coe Battle Ends In Scoreless Tie On Field

The Cornell and Coe College football game ended in a scoreless draw as Cornell’s defense held the Coe backs and heavy line runs. Bailey left with a dislocated shoulder and effort featured strong tackles by Zehr Hughes Lott and Campbell for Cornell.

Jennie Dufan Sings at Cornell Conservatory Recital

Madam Jennie Dufan of the Chicago Philadelphia Opera company delivered a well received recital at Cornell Conservatory. She presented a program including Jeunes Fillettes Pastorale Les Filles de Cadix and popular encores such as Bon Jour Susanne and Will o the Wisp demonstrating her refined soprano and dramatic skill.

Sophomores rout Academy in Inter-Class football opener

At Ash Park Thursday the Sophomores defeated the Academy 18 to 0 in the opening inter class clash. Bair smashed 15 yards for a second score before Brooks rounded the end for the final TD as LaRue directed play. All three tries failed and Hine and Bair stood out on defense and offense.

Cornell's Alumni Gymnasium Opened in 1969
