Cornell defeated Des Moines 9 to 0 while Coe beat Grinnell 9 to 0. Ames defeated Nebraska 18 to 9 and Drake routed Washington University 88 to 17. Lake Forest shutout Knox 46 to 0 with Chicago 28 Illinois 7. Michigan beat Syracuse 43 to 7 and Notre Dame won 35 to 18 over Army.
