Students Welcome President Magee at Cornell Chapel

Four Cornell students led by Francis Allen Alma Moots Elizabeth Swaney and Miles Knight welcomed new president Magee during a chapel service. They praised democracy education and student cooperation while Magee urged students to feel they own rights in the democratic college.

Admissions staff initiate Iowa coverage in two weeks

The admissions office reports that initial Iowa coverage by the High Schools and prospective students department started Tuesday with Mr Laing and Mr Hokonson. Illinois coverage is expected to begin in about two weeks. Three new Chevrolet coupes have been ordered for staff field work and will be in use soon.

Prof Rich led discussions on aims in economics. Prof Ennis spoke on sociology teaching problems.

Thompsons Awarded Yearbook Contract
