Millers Entertain Cornell College Orchestra
Prof and Mrs Horace A Miller hosted Cornell orchestra members at their home last Tuesday. Lap lunches were served and guests enjoyed viewing pictures of prior Cornell ensembles. Prof Miller has directed the Cornell orchestra for the past twenty five years.

Death Comes to Take Long Time Cornell Trustee
Dr. Edmund J. Lockwood, 68, longtime Cornell College trustee, died at his Waterloo home Sunday afternoon after illness starting 3 AM. He served as trustee since 1897, was college field agent in 1917-18, and held multiple church posts before moving to Waterloo in 1915. Survived by widow and two children. Funeral at St Pauls Cedar Rapids Wednesday 3 PM. Burial Oak Hill cemetery.
