Alumni Day at Cornell on Saturday June 1 features class reunions and an alumni luncheon with a midday business meeting at Pfeiffer. An art exhibit runs 2 to 5 p.m. in Armstrong hall prepared by Nama Lathe Phil Henderson and their students. Phi Beta Kappa meets at 2:30 in Armstrong hall.
Senator Wayne L. Morse, noted Oregon statesman and former War Labor Board member, will address Cornell's 93rd commencement on Monday June 3 at 10 a.m. in King Memorial Chapel. The event features a formal academic procession, musical selections, and the conferring of degrees to 1946 graduates.
J. M. Macaulay requests seniors call for commencement tickets on Tuesday May 28 between 1:00 and 4:30 at the alumni office. Available tickets include the alumni banquet Little Theatre commencement exercises and Monday noon luncheon. Reservations for overnight accommodations should be made at the same time.
Alumni Day will conclude with a reception at the home of President and Mrs Russell D Cole at 3 30 p m The alumni banquet follows Saturday evening in the Methodist Church with graduating seniors as special guests The Little Theatre will stage the final performance of the Commencement play Our Town beginning at 8 45 p m
Don A. Scott of Cornell class of 1939 has been selected to teach chemistry starting in the upcoming summer session. He earned an M S in chemistry from the University of Arizona and served as instructor there in quantitative analysis. Scott returned to Cornell 1942-43 to oversee laboratory work in general and other chemistry courses and is pursuing Ph D studies in organic chemistry at the University of Wisconsin.
It is announced that Ken dall Birr, a returned veteran, will serve as president of the International Club for the next year. Jean Rudesill will be secretary treasurer, while Eugene Roberts and Faraday Strock head program arrangements.
Mr and Mrs Robert Moss to reside as head residents this summer and next year at Guild Hall. From September the dormitory becomes a male resident hall while the summer term offers temporary housing for married couples without children. Applications headlined to Dean Albion King.

Dean J. B. MacGregor estimates about 150 students will be on campus for the first summer session with 40 to 50 more expected from returning service, totaling 200 or more. Hilltop housing will include Merner hall for men and Bowman hall for women, with staff overseeing recreation and meals.
Marian Casten and Roberta Lawrence present a joint 4:00 p.m. Sunday recital in the chapel. Casten performs Bach, Chopin, Weber with piano pieces, while Lawrence offers Schubert songs, a Mignon setting, and pieces by Dunhill Mednikoff and Spross.
Burlington junior Mary Wick will assume the presidency of the Cornell orchestra next year succeeding Corinne Johnson who led business affairs this year. Alice Briggs will be vice president and Sally Bush secretary treasurer.
A formal senior reception will be held at the president's house on Saturday May 25. President and Mrs. Russell Cole invite all seniors and their spouses to an open house at eight p.m. A senior sing at nine, directed by Prof Lloyd Oakland, will follow with other entertainment.
Royal Purple notes yearbook covers are not available this year. Books will be mailed after the end of the school year, requiring all fees, including photography, junior class dues, and second semester book balances, to be paid before leaving campus. Payments may be made to Grace Carson in Bowman or Sally Hasselberg in Pfeiffer.
President Russell D. Cole announced the resignations of Harold Still and Charles Hokonson from the Cornell admissions office. Still, a 1939 recruit, will become a Veterans Administration vocational counselor. Hokonson, who joined in 1940, will become physical education director at Geneva junior high school in Illinois.
The Cornell Band Orchesis program scheduled for Thursday night was postponed to Sunday May 26 at 6 45 p m on Pfeiffer lawn.
President Russell D. Cole will address the 1946 graduating class on The Shape of Intelligent Living at the baccalaureate Sunday June 2 at 10 30 a m in King Memorial Chapel. Organ prelude and processional hymn by Eugene Devereaux precede the service with Rev Harold S Gilleney giving the invocation.
Nancy Marshall, a junior from St Charles Illinois, was elected president of the campus Sociology Club this week. Norman Brice was named vice president, Lois Ratterham secretary, and Betty Ireland treasurer.
Final figures in the foreign relief drive show the college social committee contributed $100 to the fund sent to the Church of Brethren. Campus collections have been distributed to relief groups including American Friends Service $1184, Church of Brethren for helpers $435.49, and UNRRA $400.
