Four Cornell Alumni to Receive Alumni Achievement Awards
Four Cornell alumni Paul M. Clayton Colonel Lloyd Dean Mrs Lee A DuBridge and Carl W Kouba will be honored with Alumni Achievement Awards at Commencement. The anonymous committee selects winners for service generosity community involvement and achievement. Clayton died recently after a career in GM Reo Motors and Ford engineering. Dean a retired Air Force colonel leads alumni activities and has supported the college. DuBridge host at Caltech and active in science philanthropy has donated to Cornell. Kouba now Larsen Company executive chairs school activities and alumni boards.

Honorary Alumni Members Chosen By Association
Five people will be named honorary associate members of the Alumni Association at Commencement for loyalty and service. Rainsford A. Brown, Charles C. Cochran, Delinda Roggensack, and Otis Young join Mr. and Mrs. Cochran as honorees. Brown leads Meadows Transfer in Davenport and serves as a churchman and trustee. Cochran has led Cornell operations since 1957 with campus growth and a larger staff. Roggensack directed Music Education from 1947 to 1965 and influenced Cornellians in teaching music. Young chaired the Education Department from 1948 to 1965 and his teaching legacy endures through former students.

Littell Dies at 78. Cornell Professor Emeritus Remembered
Judge Littell, 78, longtime Cornell history and political science professor from 1924 to 1954, died May 15 of a heart attack. He championed the Statesmen's Scholarship Fund and taught at several colleges after retirement. Survived by wife and five children, a memorial service was held in Deposit, New York.

Evlyn Fisher registrar says students who want academic standing notes sent to their Selective Service Board must visit the Office of the Registrar in Old Sem to complete the form for information release. The office can forward class rank for the current year and supply transcripts only if the student requests and approves.
