Sociology Students Tour Anamosa State Reformatory
Professor S. L. Chandler leads sociology students on a Thursday afternoon visit to the State Reformatory for Men at Anamosa. They toured cells, corridors, dining hall, chapel, kitchen, library, workshops, and athletic grounds and donated about 200 books to the prison library before a drive through the nearby park along the Wapsipinicon river built by convict labor.

Mrs Tull Wins Play Contest At State Federation
Jewell Bothwell Tull's one act play Dead Men Can't Hurt You won first prize in a state federation of women’s clubs contest this year.
