Cornell Concert Band on Pfeiffer Lawn in spring program

The Cornell Concert Band directed by John Duckwall will perform on Pfeiffer Lawn on Wednesday at 6 30. The program blends traditional band numbers by Fillmore with lighter tunes including Lady of Spain and A Mighty Fortress with arrangements, Berlioz Grand Symphony for Band, Barnum and Bailey’s Favorite and a promenade.

Lynn Schroeder, editor of the 1950 Royal Purple, says editing the yearbook was a demanding project with long hours begun last summer. Photographers George Henry and William Wallace captured 275 photos across 20 campus trips for 154 of 160 pages, as layout and identification tasks progressed under John Morrow and Bob Christiansen.
