Twenty Fifth Music Festival Opens at Cornell
Cornell celebrates the twenty fifth anniversary of its music festival with Erika Morini as the opening recital artist. The program starts Thursday at 8 o clock featuring Morini in a violin recital alongside Mischa Levitzki Arthur Hackett and The Beatitudes. The festival continues Friday and Saturday with a strong lineup.

Eloise Lemon defeated Lois Grant 6-3 6-3 in the final to claim the W A A championship loving cup with the same awards expected if she wins three years in succession. About 30 girls started the fall tourney delayed by bad weather and class runners up were Wilma Neidig Lois Grant Faye Baldwin and Mary Plummer. Eloise Lemon will be tennis chair for next year hoping for greater interest in net sport this fall.

Cornell Men to Geneva Camp in June
About six men plan to attend the Lake Geneva Student Conference from June 15 to 25. The Geneva meeting last Thursday was a top gathering of the year with E R Hinkley of Des Moines the visiting speaker. Student presenters include Verne Jay and Dayton Niehaus. There is no meeting next Thursday due to the May Festival.

Beloit College defeats Cornell in first Midwest meet
Beloit College won 74 to 56 over Cornell in the first Midwest meet held last Saturday amid strong winds.
