Amphic Banquet Initiates New Branches With Spring Honors

Amphic tyon Oak held a Wednesday banquet to honor eight new branches. Initiation occurred at 8 15 in the society hall, followed by a four course banquet at Odd Fellows hall served by Mrs. Knox. Toasts, led by Clarence J. Smith, highlighted themes on campus growth and Freshman life with speakers Mariss Walker Alvin Hulse and Leila Nagle.

Miltonians Initiate Eighteen New Members

Eighteen new members were formally taken into the Miltonian Literary Society last night. Initiation was held in Miltonian hall with a banquet at the I O O F hall. Prof. Bachelor acted as toastmaster, speakers included Wm. Darrow on memories Kenneth Mather for the freshmen Ethel Cook for the girls and Prof. Elmo Lott on teamwork.
