Politcs majors from Cornell enter graduate work in diverse fields
Prof. C. F. Littell reports 43 of his 85 political science majors over eight years pursue graduate or professional study. Nine stay in political science, 11 to law, six to theology, 18 in other areas, with destinations including Iowa Northwestern Boston Theological Columbia Harvard Yale and others. Notable students Martin Munson and Russell Cooper are continuing studies.

Fast Workers Brings Laughs at Chapel Show
Roland Oliver’s Fast Workers proved a success in entertainment at the chapel Friday night directed by Prof. W. Earl Beem. Crowd size was shy of expectations but enough to avoid a financial loss as the three act farce kept the audience roaring. James Robertson led as Algernon Totten with mixed polish, Betty Foard as Millie Davis Julia Lyman as Aunt Kate Baildon and Manley Goodrick as Attorney Ferguson also delivering solid performances from non professionals.

George Cavelti Builds Stage Lighting Projects at College
George Cavelti completed four combination flood and spot lights eight border lights and a large switch board as part of a four year stage lighting project. He drew blueprints, studied wiring under Professor McGaw, and planned a miniature stage for the play The Royal Family.

Pal Day Luncheon Marks Cornell Reveille at Palisades
About 400 Cornell revellers passed through the Palisades Pavilion yesterday for the Pal Day luncheon prepared by Miss Leila Huebsch. The day included ball games hiking picnicking canoeing and humorous revelry as students and faculty sought a wholesome break before finals. The chapel bell rang a surprise and halted hilltop activities to resume at the river.

The Cornell Conservatory orchestra completed a post-season tour last weekend to offset deficits from an earlier April tour. They will play in Marion next Sunday evening at the Methodist church with reports indicating considerable success and little remaining to be settled from the Marion trip.

Cornell Professors Shine At Iowa Science Meet In Cedar Falls
Cornell college sent a strong delegation to the Iowa Academy of Science meeting in Cedar Falls. Dean T R McConnell presented a paper on shifts in scores on the psychological exam used by the American Council on Education between freshman and senior years. Adolph Zavodsky Paul Bieber and others assisted Culbertson in presenting research on phenolic ketimines and fury phenyl ketimine. Germani Youngest European Organ Virtuoso In U S Tour
Fernando Germani at 23 becomes the youngest European organ virtuoso to tour the United States. His 1928 Philadelphia performance on Wanamaker’s grand organ drew over 5,000 as he played Liszt Ad Nos Fantasia and Fugue among other works, praised for Lisztian fire and mastery.
