Cornell plans a spirited home field track meet this Saturday afternoon with sharp competition and enthusiastic crowds. The event aims to showcase track prospects and educate spectators on events like the shot put and hammer throw, promising two hours of real athletic enjoyment.
Fifteen events will run with full management ensuring nonstop activity. Coe representatives will visit to observe collaboration. The Class of 1905 holds the championship cup, exhibited in Hoover's window, and will defend it in their third and final attempt. All OSU students urged to attend and support. Admission to bleachers and score cards free. A follow up trip to Cue offered with a 50 cent round trip, depart 10:00 a.m. return 6:30 or 10:30 p.m.
The Glee Club under Miss Bunting presents its first public appearance this evening. Admission is 15 cents. All are urged to attend. The date was finalized late for Saturday’s issue.
