A Red Cross examiner from St Louis will supervise a five day water safety instructor course at Cornell from May 12 through May 16. Participants must hold a Red Cross life saver emblem to be eligible. The course runs three hours each night and successful completion qualifies as a Red Cross instructor.

Radio Broadcast To Recognize Cornell May Festival
A 15 minute program recognizing the Cornell May Music Festival will air on WHO Friday May 2 at 9 p.m. Sponsored by the Iowa development association the broadcast will include remarks by President Russell D. Cole and music by the Cornell choir directed by Mrs June McConlogue. Mrs Frank Cole, now at St Luke's hospital Cedar Rapids, is expected to return home next Sunday.

Two carloads of Orchesis members with Miss Persis Zentmire and Miss Ethel Ryan traveled to Grinnell on Wednesday April 23 to see Harriet Ann Gray's modern dance group. The Grinnell Orchesis sponsored the appearance, with a master lesson in the afternoon and a group dance at 8 in the evening.
