An all day session of the Educational Campaign Committee in Independence discussed the $1,200,000 drive to start next fall. The Educational Executive Committee was authorized to plan promote and execute the campaign for one institution of higher learning within the Upper Iowa Conference. Continued on page four.

The Cornell Women's Glee Club gave a program at Trinity Methodist Church Cedar Rapids Sunday evening. The Cornell Men's Glee Club followed at St. Paul's Church with a similar program. Cornell relay team wins first in Drake Relays section
Cornell half mile relay team composed of Macaulay Smith Kouba and Captain Raymond won the first section at the Drake Relays Saturday with a 1 82 2 time beating Armour Tech Albion and Tarkio. Kouba ran third, passing the leader and handing to Raymond with a four yard lead. The college section best was 1 29 2 by Oklahoma Baptists. Riley and Hunter and Corlett entered events for experience.

Students must submit slogans by noon tomorrow in Main Hall box while townspeople mail or drop theirs at Hawkeye Record office. Prizes include a C blanket first, five dollar, and two and a half dollar gold pieces for second and third. Awards Friday night at May Fete.

Cornell to Have Little Theatre Opens in May Music Festival
Cornell will convert the old Milt-Philo hall into a Little Theatre under the Purple Masquers. A stage with lights and curtains will serve as a workshop for sets and lighting with a one act program planned for the May Music Festival opening.
