Cornell to Erect Two Dormitory Units for Veterans
Roy Nelson reports that the Federal Public Housing Agency will build two dormitory blocks on land south of the old college tennis courts. Construction may start in two weeks, using barracks from St Joseph Missouri. A Des Moines contractor will erect the 20 by 100 feet buildings housing 32 men with eight two man rooms and two study halls plus bath facilities. Only veterans enrolled at Cornell may reside there.

Sunday Concert Precedes Cornell Symphony Tour
The Cornell Symphony Orchestra plans a Sunday concert March 31 at 4 p.m. in King Memorial Chapel with soloists Marjorie Tullis and Clark Hull. They then tour eastern Iowa and Illinois, under Professor Lloyd Oakland with Dick Bentley as tour manager and student assistants. The tour starts Tuesday April 2 with a Davenport concert from two buses leaving Cornell.
