Cornell Intramural Decathlon Opens Spring Card
With spring and the basketball and wrestling seasons done, Cornell’s intramural program shifts outdoors through June featuring events from horseshoes to baseball. The decathlon begins Tuesday with 24 entrants, the 100 yard dash opening day and the 440 to be run Thursday. The top scorer earns the championship. eight records were set last spring.

Freshmen Stage Mat Tournament Highlights Yearling Feats
Sixteen freshmen competed in the intramural mat tournament, with McCarty at 115 lbs and Rodgers at 145 lbs winning titles. Morford beat McCrary in the 185 lb final by a small margin as both top first year wrestlers. Coach Barker plans to enter yearlings in the Ames American Legion tourney on April 6.
