Ray and Beckhelm to Perform Joint Recital at King Memorial

Jane Graham, Cornell student and former Homecoming Queen, selected to represent Cornell in the 1950 Drake Relays Queen contest. A Royal Purple staff committee screened campus candidates to meet Drake’s queen qualifications of intelligence beauty personality and poise. The winner attends Drake events April 28 and 29 escorted by Drake men and appears on Des Moines radio.

Faculty To Vote On Suggested Change
A joint committee from the Student Council and faculty Personnel committee drafted a modification to rules on student automobile use at Cornell. The faculty will vote on the proposal to determine if it becomes the rule, with clauses barring freshmen and granting permits to married students or those living with parents in Mt. Vernon, plus insurance requirements and possible exceptions for aid recipients. The council urged a Spring vacation vote.
