Plans For Grex Near Completion As Time Lessens
Letters of acceptance flood in from high school girls invited to the Girls Grex. Over 900 invitations sent, and while music contests run statewide, many girls are expected to attend. Final plans set for Friday night for the entire student body with free admission. A luncheon follows on Saturday at 12:30 at First Methodist church for all women in the college. The Cor nell college English club announced Friday that two Minneapolis Central high school students won top awards in the Midwest high school creative writing contest. Charlotte Radcliff won first in poetry for Lassitude and Laurie Cavanaugh won first in prose sketch for Before Breakfast. Each received a ten dollar prize.
