Noted Persons Attend Cornell Costume Party In Lisbon
The Purple Masquers and members of The Art Club English Club and Clef Club joined for a costume party at Ye Old Dutch Inn in Lisbon last Saturday night. Two bus loads of guests arrived from the Conservatory to join a dinner at 6 30 with no toasts. Mr William Shakespeare announced the absence of toasts and the audience applauded. The Masquers performed a one act farce featuring characters from The Torchbearers Ts Zat So Grumpy and Romeo and Juliet seen at Cornell this winter.

Freshmen-Junior Women Cup Honors in Swimming Meet
The W A A Tank meet last Friday crowned the freshmen and juniors 49 to 31 over the sophomores and seniors. Jere Annis wowed with diving and stunts while Miss Shem dazzled with swan dives. Individual event results highlight Edwards Skinner Gibson Flint Heyward Tallman and others across freestyle back side and breast strokes with Flint Edwards Skewis Gibson leading the scoring.
