Cornell edged Carleton 45 43 on home court in a tense finale. Lloyd Simester sank the winning basket with three seconds left as Dwayne Howard led Cornell with 17 points and Massaport topped Carleton with eight. The win gives Cornell a three way tie for last, and marked Judd Deans final win as coach with seniors Simester Ortmeyer and Bishop bidding farewell.
