School Meeting In Two Sections At Cornell College
Cornell college hosts the second annual conference for school administrators on Saturday March 10. The event will split into two parts an assembly for high school principals and school board members and a session for junior college representatives. Women's Invite Formal Saturday Dance in Gym

Freshman Genius Modernizes Oil Lamp Abroad
A high school student in Altoona, Francis Glenn, electrifies a Rayo oil lamp keeping its oil-burning function. He installed a bulb at the top of the flue with a cord hidden inside and a side switch, yielding three times the light of ordinary lamps. He completed the project in March 1932 and drew attention from Popular Mechanics. He has since replicated the lamp at Cornell and Mount Vernon.
