The Royal Purple Club of Boston hosted a Cornell Colonial Ball on February 22 at Professor George H. Betts and wife’s residence. Attendees wore period costumes and the Virginia reel was performed. The grand march included a walk to the Washington Elm with General Ashington command recalled from July 8 1775. Cornell delegates to the State Oratorical Association will meet in Cedar Rapids Friday.
