Rev Ray L Smith and Dr Moss spoke at Cornell as part of the Centenary movement tour. Smith, pastor of St Pauls Chicago, urged a shared moral standard and the spread of Christian principles amid world chaos. Plans for reorganizing the Cornellian staff to a larger, more workable basis are completed. An all hands meeting in room 5 Main Hall Monday afternoon invites new and old members to discuss roles in news writing gathering editing heads and layout.

Dean McLain of Ohio Wesleyan spoke Friday in the chapel on centenary ideals as Cornellians heard this week. Her talk titled Today's Challenge urged women to focus on accurate thinking sincerity and high personal character amid new industrial opportunities and responsibilities.

Miss Baker Delights What Cheer Recital With Readings

Miss Rose Evelyn Baker presented Within the Law at the Masonic opera house in What Cheer under B Y P U auspices. She offered several short selections to a large, attentive audience, praised for full clarity and engaging delivery. The What Cheer paper notes the crowd nearly filled the lower section and expressed pleasure at her performance and potential future appearances. The Baptist church youth drew praise for supporting the event.

Special Cars Will Carry Cornell Routers to Coe Game

A Coe game pep meeting is planned at the Chapel Monday at 7 45 pm with yells, talks by Lyle Chandler on women’s reasons to attend, and a feature by Mr Byerly. The band will perform Varsity and a pageant by local actresses. Cars leave Mount Vernon at 6 45 pm Tuesday. tickets cost 25 cents in advance from Frances Collins et al. seating will be arranged for Cornell fans.

English Club Presents Play To Large Crowd

The Adelphian Hall audience filled to S R O as the English Club staged Zona Gale’s one act The Neighbors directed by Ida Yeamans. Cast included Joyce Barnes Thelma Lull Harland Embree Raymond Houston Esther Arganbright Ida Yeamans Carrie Nelson Gertrude Carr with Camp Fire girls Dorothy Weiss and Kathryn Marino presenting Pierrot and Pierrette before the main event.

A. L. Killian of Killian Company spoke to the Marketing Problems class on The Departmental Store. He outlined up to date store management, answered questions, and stressed the need for college education in retail. Professor Keister praised securing such a speaker for the class.
