Pinafore rehearsals advance under large cast

The cast for the twenty ninth production of Pinafore is being shaped rapidly after examinations. Rehearsals are now in full swing with a large cohesive group, thanks to Miss Pinkerton and Mr Huffman. Betty Cole and Ted Arnold receive praise for voice and stage presence as the director Teel coordinates the orchestra.

Cornelia Otis Skinner Set to Perform January 25

Arrangements were completed for Cornelia Otis Skinner to appear in the chapel auditorium on Saturday evening January 25. Dr. H. C. Stancliff, chairman of the Lecture Course Committee, announced the event. She had planned an original character sketches program the prior Wednesday but was delayed by snow while en route from Mason City.

He defined a politician as one studying and advancing national interests and urged public participation to ensure good public servants. Burgstahler Leaves for Washington Actions

President Burgstahler departed for Washington D C at the start of the week to attend the Association of American Colleges meeting. He will join the Educational Association of the M E church session, then proceed to New York for the Cornell Club dinner before returning to campus mid next week.

Mason Teaches Chemistry in Michigan College

O'Neal Mason, class of 1921, serves seven years as professor of chemistry at Michigan Agriculture College in Lansing. The college is the oldest of its kind in the United States and had 900 freshmen chemistry students last fall. A new laboratory supports the work.
