Bookstore Acquires 300 Paperbacks for Cornell College
The Cornell College bookstore is ordering 600 paperback titles with about 300 on display. Faculty and students suggested books via Student Council questionnaires. Most requests can be fulfilled within three days, a week in general. Dorm desks hold request forms for further titles. Subjects span art economics science drama music philosophy religion history world affairs and fiction.

The Cornell faculty approved in principle a four course program beginning next fall, replacing the current 15 to 16 hour load with four four hour courses. The plan sets a 30 course graduation requirement and introduces a junior and sophomore studies course framework along with a general junior year exam.
