Exam and Registration Days Bring New Courses
Pre-registration for the second semester is announced for January 9 to 13. Freshmen and sophomores must see advisers by January 11, juniors and seniors by Friday. Bring course cards in ink and attend a conference. Schedules and catalog sections available at the registrar. A plan to reduce congestion allows pre-registered students to fill class card sheets in advance after January 18.
New Courses Added for Second Semester 1938 39
Examination schedule posted and additions announced include English 120 a periodical literature course taught by Mrs Van Etten. Sociology adds two courses 282 for sophomores sociology problems and 376 on labor problems with historical industry context. Music offers Music 211 12 elementary conducting, open to freshmen, plus existing conducting options. Home economics may offer 304 institutional management if three or more register.
Twelfth Night Revels Brighten Greenwood Party
Robin Hood hosted a Greenwood English party at Cornell English Club with dancing singing and revelry. Notable attendees included Don Lawson and Friar Tuck MacGregor as the crowd enjoyed Shakespeare songs an eight piece band and a feast of banberry tarts and nut brown ale.
