Wars Cost More Than Education In U S Budget
In a Dean McConnell education class a National Education Association bulletin shows three of four cities plan to cut school budgets this year. For 1930, national income is about 78 billion dollars and public schools cost 2.615 billion, about 3.25 percent of the income. Education funds a small share of federal outlays compared with highway spending.

Edmund Ringland spoke on the coming Cornell production its aims and limitations.
