Cornell Band Plans Trip to Coe Friday
The reorganized Cornell band will accompany the team to Coe with about seventy to eighty rooters. Ira T. Carrithers of Cedar Rapids College approves barging on without surrendering cardboard. The group will pay its own expenses and a Cornell section will be reserved for rooters. No special train is planned. a special trailer may be provided on the regular interurban service.

Putnam served as toastmaster. speakers included Prof. H. M. Kelley, William C. Rigby, and Dean H. H. Freer. Dr. R. B. Blue named next year president. officers include Mrs. Earl Pierce Stein and J. D. Blackwell.

Freshman Debaters Show Promise In Inter Society Contests
The first freshmen inter society debates were held Saturday evening with the Zeregathians Milton ians and Parmenians winning three to zero in their series. Judges praised the strong arguments and delivery with Kinnan Dawson Lester and Raines as standout speakers. The Amphics narrowly defeated by the Zets in Amphic hall as Smith and Wheeler led rebuttals.
