Ellsberg to Speak on America and Indochina at Cornell

Daniel Ellsberg former Pentagon analyst and RAND contributor will speak at Cornell College on February 27 at 8 15 p m in King Chapel on America and Indochina a theory of the 30 year war Admission is 2 for adults 1 for non Cornell students free for Cornell students faculty and staff Tickets at the door Ellsberg known for the Pentagon Papers case will outline his view that the Vietnam War was largely an American war from the start.

Cornell ISPIRG Chapter Declared Inactive At Cornell College

In February 1975 Cornell College learns its ISPIRG chapter is defunct after missing three state meetings. With about $1218 collected in 1974 75 the funds may have been sent to ISPIRG headquarters 95 percent of local money goes to state office for staff and lobbying. Whether any funds can be recovered remains unclear.

Referendum Set on Rood House Plan by Student Council

The Student Council votes to hold a referendum on the Rood House plan on Tuesday March 4. After a February 25 meeting the council, citing a forum last Thursday, states students have shown commitment and a clear reason for the referendum. Polls will be open at lunch and dinner in the Commons.
