Cornell President fielded questions at campus forum

About 300 to 400 students gathered in the Pal Room for a Tuesday evening open forum with President Stumpf. He explained reversing the Hearing Committee on the Oct. 15 disrobing incident and answered four floor questions on campus guards and the AAUP document.

Merritt Foundation Dissolving at Cornell

The Albert N Merritt Foundation will dissolve with no new loans after the 1968 69 year. Current borrowers may continue until graduation and those seeking loans for 1969 70 should apply promptly. The foundation has loaned over 200000 to Cornell students in eight years.

Dean Good Resigns as Cornell College Dean

The resignation of Stuart Good, Dean of Student Affairs at Cornell College, becomes effective at the end of the academic year. President Dr. Samuel Enoch Stumpf notes Good’s long service since 1957 and that a student-faculty committee will review student affairs before a new dean is appointed.

Presidential and union election slate narrowed to two candidates

Yesterday's student government primary trimmed the field to Ron Albers and Robert Barrick for SG president with final ballot set for March 6. John T. Greenwood and Doug Mehlan advance to SG vice presidency, Kimberley Haag unopposed for Commons Union Board, Andrea Lites and Barb Schultz seek CUB vice presidency, and AWS and Men's Senate primaries were rescheduled due to ballot irregularities with Religious Life Council also on Saturday's ballot.
