Ex premier Kerensky to speak at Cornell May 18

Alexander Kerensky, former Russian premier and key democracy advocate, will be commencement speaker at Cornell College on May 18 per President Magee’s announcement. He held multiple roles in 1917 Provisional Government and later lived abroad, authoring two books on the Russian Revolution.

Cornell bestows honorary Doctor of Science on Dr. Charles Friley

At the Cornell midwinter convocation last Sunday afternoon President Magee conferred the honorary degree on Dr. Charles Friley, president of Iowa State College. Friley urged scientists to apply knowledge to society and study the effects of advances on welfare. He has led Iowa State since 1936 and holds several scientific and academic affiliations.

Moliere Farce Prescribed for Little Theatre Matinee
