Hedges Announces Faster Start For Ebersole Health Center
Cornell college officials announce work on the Ebersole Student Health Center will begin as early as spring, with plans by architect Howard R. Green Co. of Cedar Rapids. The 80 by 50 foot building costs about 100000 dollars and will be funded by the Ebersole Memorial Foundation. The North of the health cottage site is under consideration, with the cottage kept for nurse housing. The Ebersole family endowed roughly 300000 dollars for the foundation. Francis and William Ebersole had long ties to the college. The center follows last fall’s completion of a 500000 dollar Field House from Centennial funds.
