The Freshman Varsity basketball team defeated Wilton Junction twice, 22 to 17 and 21 to 16, in their first public appearance. Wilton Junction, renowned in Class B Cornell tournaments, led 10 to 5 at halftime but the Freshmen rallied in the second half with a fourth quarter surge led by Glemmer to secure both wins. Don Clemmer played as a forward for the Freshmen.
