The Little Art Gallery in Cedar Rapids displayed textiles printed from Cornell art department designs and linoleum cuts by Miss Lathe under her direction. Prints were made on nine inch squares of linoleum and stamped onto cloth. Exhibitors included Louise Haug Eva McCaulley Mrs Rahn and Hazel Beitz with pieces titled Cornell Hill Unpicked Corn a blue geometric on jade green and Abstract Bird in mahogany on buff.

Senior Injured In Auto Accident Near Newhall
Lawrence Long a senior at Cornell was seriously injured Friday night when his car crashed to avoid a stalled van on the Lincoln Highway just past Newhall. He sustained a broken collar bone facial cuts a paralyzed arm and internal injuries later ruled to include a lung injury. condition improved Monday with no sight loss. Two Lisbon companions were not seriously hurt.

American Gothic Exhibit by Grant Wood in Cedar Rapids
An exhibit by famous Iowa artist Grant Wood opens at the Little Gallery for several days after a public reception Wednesday evening. The centerpiece is his prize painting American Gothic showing a farmer and his wife before their country home. Wood also designed a tribute window in the Cedar Rapids Memorial Building.
