A Woman's League plan uses a series of teas labeled a la Hoover where each guest hosts a similar tea for four others. Each invitation carries a fifteen cent fee, turning social gatherings into a fund raising chain for the Red Cross.

The new Cornell Red Cross Chapter elects Selma Kluss president K C Smith vice president Joyce Barnes secretary and Harold Butzloff treasurer. A 100 percent campus membership drive begins soon with sewing knitting and surgical dressings classes for women and patriotic service for men, everyone urged to join and wear a 1918 Red Cross button.
A sewing class for hospital supplies and Belgian refugees will be held at the sewing room at 9 a.m. Saturday. All who signed up are expected to be present.
Cornell secured its first win of the week over Iowa Wesleyan 35 to 20 as Kepler led with eight field goals and six free throws. Dubuque provided a tougher test Friday night, but Cornell pulled away late to win 26–15 with strong defense and sustained pressure.
