Candy Contest Winners Head First Year Competition

Prohibition Team Tours Springville Event Draws 250
The Prohibition league sent its first deputation team of the year to Springville led by Charles Harris. They traveled by auto, drawing a crowd of about 250 dry supporters to the Methodist church for a program including vocal solo Lena Wurzbacker reading Miss Benson talks by Herbert Chennoweth and E. D. Sherrill and a quartet. The audience showed lively appreciation and the trip was deemed enjoyable and successful. A note from the Rec ord recalls a joke about Bang.
