Non-speech Students Present Noel Coward Play Wednesday
Cast drawn from outside the speech department will perform Family Album by Noel Coward under Lillian Elsesser in the Little Theater. Earlier reading shows included Girls in Uniform, Private Lives, The Boar, Will O’ the Wisp, Village Wooing with multiple directors. Freshman speech classes staged radio versions Redemption and Dr. Faustus with two directors.

Class Schedule Shortened For Vacationers
Students head home for a two week Christmas vacation with a shortened Friday schedule. Chapel is omitted and class periods are reduced to five minutes. The timetable runs 7:45 to 11:20 with lunch served 11:25 to 11:45 in both dining halls.
Moving Into Armstrong Hall During Christmas Break
Christmas vacation December 17 to 31 marks the music drama and art depts moving time as equipment is moved into the Armstrong Hall of Fine Arts. No classes in the new building until the second semester begins. Final equipment purchases are underway this week with the stage curtain rigging and lights already bought.
Cagers Begin Title Race At Monmouth
Cornell opens the Midwest conference basketball slate Thursday at Monmouth against Monmouth College. Deanmen face Knox Friday in Galesburg as part of a ten game league schedule. Fresh sophomores lead a brighter outlook after a 28 26 win over Iowa State.
