A staged disciplinary proceeding at the S A T C gym drew a crowd as officers faced a mock court. Secretary Smith was sentenced to a traveling bag, Lieut Lewis had a similar fate for car chain loss, and Lieut Merson and Lieut Fulton received bags for campus darkness and MacLeod House visits respectively. President Flint and four faculty members seek to secure a Phi Beta Kappa charter for Cornell College. The plan hinges on high scholastic standards, ample endowment, strong student body, and able faculty. The society aims to honor scholarship and motivate better college work across the campus.
