Eight Cornellians Enlist in National Service Week
Eight Cornell University students were added to the National Service list in the past week. Ott Kohl and Harlan Briggs passed aviation exams and are back in school awaiting call. Roy McCullough and Harry Terrell joined the quartermasters. Clyde Reed Albert Roderick Dale Merwin and Earl Apfel joined the aviation corps. Weary Wilson faces an aviation exam this afternoon at Cedar Rapids.

Four Debates Scheduled in Coming Week
The Adelphians project four debates next week in the Lower Chapel starting at 7 45. Cedar Rapids judges travel for one debate and two others feature topics on government and woman suffrage with Coe College professors and Cedar Rapids attorneys serving as judges. Admission is free for students and faculty with athletic tickets. Society yells are planned around the events.

Four Minute Speakers Schedule and Local Men Count
The Four Minute Speakers list for the week includes Mrs Gormly speaking Thursday morning in the College Chapel and Prof F M McGaw speaking Saturday evening in the Star Theater. Chicago hosts 250 four minute men with 300 expected by January first. Mt Vernon and Lisbon each have 25 four minute men.
Lecture on Oberammergau Passion Play by Marie Mayer
Fraulein Marie Mayer who portrayed Mary Magdalene in the 1910 Oberammergau Passion Play will present an illustrated lecture on the play. The talk occurs in the auditorium on Wednesday December 12 at 8 o'clock as the opening event of the Cornell Lecture Course.

Varsity Squad Dines At President Flint Banquet
The football squad enjoyed a three course banquet at President Flint's residence Monday evening. President Flint Coach Finger and Capt. Hartwell spoke. Sanderson Hoadley Hedges and the seniors replied with brief expressions of gratitude. The Oratorio Society then departed.
