New Verse Choir to Appear First Next Tuesday
Cornell becomes the first west of the Mississippi to form a verse choir. About sixty voices will perform Evening in Paradise from Paradise Lost in the chapel at 4 o clock on December 13. The project aims at harmonized speaking through ensemble reading under Prof. Albert Franklin Johnson with Robert Guilbert and Prof. H C Lane guiding the effort.

Richard Tims 84 will attempt a Rhodes Scholarship Dec 10 in Iowa City. Nine Iowa colleges will select two nominees from Town, who then face six other Midwestern states’ representatives.
