The Aletheans presented the Epic Tragedy of Dido before a large and well pleased audience last Saturday, following Cornell’s tradition of turning ambitious dramas into a lighter affair when undertaken by student societies.
Critics praise Florence Metcalf as Queen Dido and Anna May Sansom as Aeneas for strong acting. Music and chorus conducted by Mr. Wilson lift the heavy program though a printer’s error briefly marred the ending.
