All Cornell College To Be Included In TB Test Program
A campus wide tuberculosis testing program begins next Monday at Cornell College, run jointly by the Linn County tuberculosis association and the college health service. All faculty staff and students will be tested, including those who did not take the patch test this year or did not report for a reading. Positive patches lead to x rays, paid for by the Linn County TB association in Cedar Rapids on scheduled days.

WMT to Broadcast Messiah on December 13

Seniors Finish Record Tests
One hundred students took the Graduate Record Examination in the basement of the First Methodist church with the remainder in Room 15 of South Hall. Prof. C Dewitt Norton led testing with deans and Mrs Norton proctoring. Tests covered physical sciences biological sciences fine arts vocabulary literature and expression. Results will aid counseling as GRAs are required by most grad schools.

King Memorial Chapel: A Century of Financial Struggles and Salvation
The King Memorial Chapel at Cornell College traces a 70 year struggle to build and finish a planned chapel. Initiated in 1874 amid a depression, funds were raised slowly. bankruptcy and heavy debt followed. By 1877 the campus was mortgaged to pay debts, faculty even sacrificing salary. Eventually $72,000 funded completion, $17,000 later for finishing touches, and 1932 saw a new pipe organ and redecorations.

Dr and Mrs Cole In Auto Accident in Peoria
President and Mrs Russell Cole were uninjured when their car was hit at an intersection in Peoria at 7 30 p m Wednesday. The front end of the car was damaged and they left it to return home with O A Kohl of Cedar Rapids who was in Peoria. The Coles had gone to Chicago on Monday and were returning home via Peoria for business.

Christmas Tableau Planned at King Memorial Chapel

Play Groups Begin as Lab Course in Psychology
Miss Dalton introduces a child psychology lab by forming play groups for ages 2 1/2 to 4 1/2. Eleven children are enrolled as a community education source and teaching aid for Psychology 215 with Martha Reames assisting.
