Noted Explorer to Bring Stories From Polar Seas
The world renowned Norwegian captain Roald Amundsen will lecture on The Discovery of the South Pole at Cornell College Mt. Vernon Lisbon on Monday evening December 8. The eight o clock address will be illustrated with stereopticon views and cost one dollar for non season-ticket holders. Amundsen, born 1872, studied medicine then turned to sea life and exploration. He began the Northwest Passage voyage in 1903 sailing the Gjoa and spent two years on King Williams Land advancing polar exploration.

No Reserved Seats For Messiah Performance
