Cornell College widens chapel attendance with roll keeping and open library spaces after supper for social use. A Pep club advisory role to the faculty signals deeper student participation in policy, with more reforms likely under the current administrative committee.
The Intercollegiate Prohibition Association plans a large Cornell delegation to the Topeka Kansas national convention during Christmas holidays. The event aims to boost the prohibition movement and is expected to renew enthusiasm across Cornell activities and statewide leadership.
Grinnell professor Charles N. Smiley spoke to the Fortnightly club on the Olympic games with slides of Greek sculpture. He described training, strict adherence to rules, and Greek ideals of beauty and truth, praising the lecture as among the best given at Cornell.

The Junior and Senior prayer meeting will join with Sophomores for a mass gathering led by Blake Stevenson. The program includes music by Lenore Silliman and Roe Howard, talks on actions by students and faculty, a solo by Ruth Alexander, and a social after the meeting.
Chicago society women knit shawls for Belgians while Cornell students save Fatima coupons for King Albert. Marketing is a big pastime among the Aesthesians on Tuesday. Gerald Smith made a strong run for the Prohibition League but was defeated on the final count. The Joint Junior-Senior prayer meeting announces a solo by Miss Ruth Alexander and music by Roe Howard.
A joint meeting at Aesthesian hall led by Miss Riley drew a large crowd. Special music by Miss Arva Brady and Mr Waite preceded talks on happiness as a necessity. Mr Little spoke on national gratitude and Mr Stevenson on international themes before students took over.
Next Friday evening December 4 the Ben Greet company presents Shakespeare's Twelfth Night in the College Auditorium at 7 30. It is the second lecture course number with admission seventy five cents and course tickets one dollar twenty five. Tickets available at McKays drug store.
