Orchesis Presents Dance Recital on Campus
About 300 spectators watched Orchesis perform a six-piece program in the Little Theater. The first half featured classic forms including a Sarabande and Gigue and a section from Aeschylus play Agamemnon. Summer Artists To Cover Eleven Eastern Cities

Male Chorus to Sing in King Memorial Chapel Friday
A Cornell male chorus will perform Friday evening at 7 30 in King Memorial chapel for the first time in 17 years. Under Delinda Roggensack the group will sing four numbers in the second half. the first half features woodwind pieces by Dr. Paul Koepke. The choir’s formation followed campus quartet breakup last year and gained official sanction in October 1948 led by John Taylor.

Carnival on Campus Promises Games and Cake Raffle
Students will attend a gym night carnival starting at 8 30 and ending at 11 30. The event features a bowling alley on the gym floor, basketball throws, dart throws, a baseball throw, a food concession and a cake raffle organized by campus groups.
Harrell Plans Second Concert in May Music Festival
Mack Harrell, acclaimed as one of America’s finest concert baritones, will give the second concert of the 1949 May festival on Friday night May 6 at King Memorial. He last appeared with the New York Philharmonic in Beethoven’s Symphony No 9 and will also sing Saturday afternoon May.
