Forged Check Escape and Proceeds Reported

A man posing as C R Davia passed a forged check at Arnold and Olson on North Fourth Street. The fake instrument for 24.65 was drawn on First National Bank and signed by Kennedy and Wo. The suspect, of medium height and about 160 pounds, wore dark clothing and was unshaven for days. He bought tracerion worth two cents and kept the excess cash. No clue to his identity. Striking rail men enjoined in Idaho dispute

Judge Wood issued a temporary injunction against a long list of ball telephon employers and several named strikers, forbidding threats or force against Rocky Mountain Telephone workers in Coeur dAlene and Idaho. The defendants must appear Sept. 2, 1907, to show why the order should not become permanent. A special officer was assigned to protect employees.
