Robert Davis died Friday morning at Strogaph hospital from injuries in a tank explosion at the Haines garage in Texline Tuesday evening. Davis, a mechanic with the Texline garage, was crushed when a tank vent cap failed under pressure. He had lived in Greenvine and Clayton County before. an Odd Fellows member, he was esteemed as a skilled carpenter and friend to many. Funeral arrangements will be handled by the Odd Fellows lodge.
