The Good Roads Convention at Rat on drew strong attendance and set funding goals. Each county will contribute 50 dollars to sustain association work, plus 1500 dollars for an official route log and highway flagging. Committees are Granville and Woodward. James Collins Dies in Trinidad After Illness
James Collins of Seneca collapsed and died in the Drew rooming house in Trinidad last Saturday. He sought treatment for asthma and tuberculosis before death from heart failure. Funeral arrangements were conducted by Hall-McMahon Undertaking, with burial at Seneca Cemetery. He leaves a wife and a sister of John and Dave Brown of Seneca, and many relatives and friends mourn him.

Mrs Miller Dies at San Rafael Hospital in Trinidad
Mrs Miller W A Miller died at San Rafael Hospital Trinidad at 2 am yesterday and was brought to Clayton for interment today in Clayton cemetery. Rev J Herrin led service at the house at 3 pm. Pallbearers included W D Kilburn A C Lovelace Snyder Palmer Easterwood Simers and Eklund. She was born December 23 1872 in Missouri married in 1889 to W A Miller, lived in Content Texas, Folsom, then Clayton. Children Lloyd Alton Eleanor and Helen survived with a grieving husband and family. community notes her patience faith and devotion.
