Wedding notes and local visits fill Citizen-Republican pages
The June 24 1909 Citizen-Republican reports Carl Hirsch of Tripp visiting the city, family visits across Parkston Utica and Omaha, and numerous local movements. It notes wedding rings at Treiber's and a Presbyterian church call vote after Rev E R Horton’s sermon, with Horton likely to become pastor at $900 yearly plus parsonage.
